The primary product lines that they represented and sold were mostly the air handling items such as duct work, grills and registers, fans and venting products. They also included dust and exhaust systems. They always had an inside store to stock tool and sundie items.

The first year the only thing that they sold was register undefined grill products from environmental air products in Tucson Arizona, and rotary turbine vents from Triangle Engineering from Dallas Texas.

The second year they were able to start selling metal duct and all the fittings that were supplied by Noll Mfg from Richmond California. That was when we began to really grow.

In April or May 1976 we moved into our new home on 683 Vernon way in El Cajon where it was our home for over forty years.

On April 1^st 2003 we changed our company to a 50% ESOP Company and the Employees started the process of buying Dave Dennison's half of the company. ESOP stands for Employee Stock Option Plan. In doing this the entire group of employee are now owners of company shares, and are issued shares each year from the profits of the company. Dave undefined Len felt that it was a way to share with the employee, and for them to have a retirement rather than just selling the company to an outside group.

Southern Cal has averaged having from twelve to fifteen employees for the last twenty years and are very proud to say we have many employees that have been with the company over twenty years and two over thirty years. We believe longevity in employees is one of the greatest assets and the strength of a company.

In April 1 st 2006 Southern Cal moved to the present facility and have been very happy with all the room and a great parking lot for the customers to park. Our building is 20,000. square feet and the lot is probably another 50,000 square feet.

We serve all of San Diego county and Imperial county
and part of the Riverside county.

Service is our motto and spoiling our customers with care and concern is the biggest part of our success for the forty plus years we have been in business.

We plan to be here another 40+ years, and
I believe we will.
